Passion is the root creation of my current texture series and brings a vibrant red and gold pop of color to any space.
Currently, it is the cover of my first solo show in Olympia where the four creations it has inspired are also on display. 
This painting was crafted over time with fabric, plaster, and crafting as it sets to create a dance with shadows and light. What I enjoyed most was playing with how the light is caught by adding accents of gold, highlights, and lowlights, to really create a dramatic portrayal along this cast.
